Just completed the entire game. Had to tell you I absolutely loved it. Hoping for a sequel! Loved the clever spoofing of DBZ while making an original and sweet story. I for one fully understand the time it took you to complete, because you put some real work into this!
The art is cutesy, very simple, but pretty and works well. The story is actually very well written, barely a few tiny grammar issues. Have only two criticisms:
1 - There's no way of displaying the images full screen for viewing, by toggling off the text frame.
2 - The options include "voices" but there's no sound at all, not even BGM of ambient sound. Would've been a nice addition.
Hope this encouragement motivates you to do more. Your visual novel gave me one pleasant afternoon. 😊
glad to hear it. this was a jam game so it lacks a few things like music and polish. As for the options, those are default to renpy, I'll probably never use the voice audio frequency.
as for image viewing, you should be able to push H to hide the text. pretty sure that's default for renpy as well
But I play on Android. Any such option?
i dont play android, and am not the engine maker. if there's no option for it, it may not be possible then. that might be a lemma soft issue
